The 29th Annual Cool Art Show

Cool Art Show Breezes into St. Petersburg

The 29th Annual Cool Art Show comes to St. Petersburg’s historic Coliseum July 15 and 16. It’s the perfect destination on a hot, Florida day,
to see work from and talk with some of the area’s top artists.

Approximately 75 outstanding artisans have been selected to exhibit a remarkable collection of visual and functional creations in paint, wood,
ceramics, photography, metal, glass, fiber, mixed
media and jewelry. This year’s event continues the Cool Art Show tradition of representing
distinction across the spectrum of artistic media with many artists having received awards in shows and/or representation in galleries and
museums worldwide.

The Coliseum is located at 535 4th Avenue North. Show hours are 10am -5pm Saturday and Sunday and the Coliseum’s food and beverage concessions
will be open to the public, including
beer and wine. Show Admission and parking are free.

This juried fine art and fine craft show is sponsored by PAVA, the Professional Association of Visual Artists. PAVA is a non-profit organization run by
volunteer artists to serve local artisans
and support the arts community in the Tampa Bay Area. It provides exhibition, education and grant opportunities
for its members and supports local art centers through scholarships for art

This is PAVA’S second premier juried fine art and fine craft exhibition which offers high caliber work from local and statewide artists. A collection of hand crafted visual and functional works available for sale in paint, wood, ceramics, photography, metal, glass, mixed media and jewelry. Take your time, reflect on the work, and talk to the artists. It’s inside, it’s comfortable, and it’s not big. We have already done the hard part for you, now you decide what to take home.
This is also a chance for our winter visitors to see the high caliber of work that PAVA has been presenting for the past 28 years during the summer Cool Art Show.
Make a day of it and visit the show along with the charming waterfront town of Gulfport Florida.
