PAVA announces their new lecture series:
"The Total Package . . . I do great art, now what?"
This informational lecture series will provide the business and marketing tools, and perhaps the answers to "How do I achieve . . . ?" for visual artists from the beginner to the seasoned veteran. Topics will include developing a business plan, pricing your art, developing vendor relationships, writing an artist statement, presenting your work, and more. You'll meet successful Artists and Guest Speakers who will share their experiences with the audience and answer questions. Leading us in this series is Lorraine Potocki who started her own business, Florida Pastels LLC in February 2008. Her unique experience of working in a business environment for many years prior to her art career will help guide participants in their goal of making art their career. The first presentation "How to Begin. . .Find a Mentor" will be held on September 16, 7 pm at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center, 1143 Michigan Blvd, Dunedin. There is no cost to attend.
