“I draw from life, from figures, flora and fauna.  My primary motivations are to look and draw by hand what I see. The work speaks back to me as I draw or paint in charcoal, pastel and oil. I’m drawn to the hand-wrought physicality of paint on wood, charcoal and ink on paper. With printmaking and collage I refine, multiply and combine images, filtering them through the lenses of my eyes, brain, hand and life experiences.”
