PAVA Board Meeting Munutes
October 21, 2009 5:30 - 7:00 pm

In Attendance: Susan Rollins Gehring, Barbara Kampe Hanson, Stephen Schatz, Barbara Burhans, Barbara Grazul Hubbard, Jenna Star Friedman

Susan Gehring opened opened and led the meeting. Discussions included:

  1. Review and discussion of Budget for 2009-2010.
  2. Members' show will be at Clearwater Library for 3 months: Sept l through November 2010.
  3. Cool Art: review of contract with Coliseum; jurying entries; need to find new Chair for 2010 Cool show.
  4. Ruth Eckerd Hall show: for 2010 agreement there will be $200 rental and $100 marketing package fees. People that were in show this year will decide entrants for next year. Consensus by Board to continue with this show.
  5. Need to form By-Law committee, and find a Chair for this committee.
  6. Need to form 501c3 committee, and find a Chair for this committee.
  7. Need new board member to replace Denis Gaston who is stepping down.
  8. Susan will make announcement at members' meeting that we will be asking via email for volunteers for three committe chairs and a board member.
