Susan is currently living in the coastal community of Ozona, Florida. Her watercolor paintings and colored pencil drawings are greatly influenced by the seaside surroundings of the Gulf Coast. Whatever the subject, bright primary colors draw you to her work. While she pursued a career in accounting she kept her soul alive by taking art classes. She has attended watercolor workshops and colored pencil retreats to increase her knowledge in art as well as taking art classes at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center concentrating on drawing, watercolor and colored pencil.
Susan had a colored pencil piece in CPSA’s International Colored Pencil Show. She has participated in fine art and craft festivals throughout the state of Florida and has had her paintings in art galleries around the local area, including exhibitor at the Rotary Centennial Nature Center at Honeymoon Island. Her work has won awards including best of show, second place and honorable mentions. She is currently painting and exhibiting at the Royal Heron Art Gallery and Studio in Ozona, FL..
