After being born and raised in Connecticut and serving in the US Navy, I entered the school of architecture in the school of engineering at the University Of Miami.
I then found my calling in interior design and semi retired after over 50 years of designing and decorating homes, restaurants, medical offices, commercial offices as well as luxury yachts. For many years I also taught interior design in my studio as well as at Saint Petersburg (Junior) College and the International Academy in Tampa. I was a proud member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and a multi year officer of the Florida state chapter.
I have always found my way to relax was to work with wood, whether it was to build a wall unit, a table or a cabinet. This all lead to woodturning where I now put most of my efforts.
As a professional member of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) I have furthered my skills by studying with master woodturners from throughout the free world and often attend educational symposiums throughout the country. I offer lessons at my studio and also teach woodturning at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center in Dunedin, FL.
